buddha board

Sorry for the delayed posting, just a little rouge readers...I was away on a last minute ski vacation in Maine. Fun!

While I was away, I spent a day toodling around the small town next to the mountain. In a cool little shop that offered homemade jewellery, great little handbags, and unique gift ideas, I found the Buddha Board.

Perfect for the small thank-you gift I was looking for. It’s cool, it’s fun, it’s different... and it’s very stylish! The adults loved it. The kids loved it too.

Here’s what their website says:

“Buddha Board (www.buddhaboard.com) is based on the Zen concept of living in the moment. You simply paint on the surface wioth water and your creation will come to life in bold design. Then, as the water slowly evaporates, your art will magically disappear leaving you with a clean slate and a clear mind – ready to create a whole new masterpiece.

Buddha Board is also environmentally friendly and will last for years with proper care. Allow yourself to let go and not be concerned with the outcome – live for the moment and enjoy!”

And, it comes in three sizes....the original (shown here), a laptop version and a mini version. The original costs just under $35. Cheap!

Here’s another good thing...it’s made in Canada. Vancouver, in fact.

The only problem? I should have bought one for myself too.
